Dean Schifilliti – Managing Director

Founded Build North Constructions in 2017. Coming from a prominent commercial building company and developer in the greater Townsville area, Dean embarked on a journey to establish himself independently as Build North Constructions.

Dean’s primary role involves the management, administration, procurement and estimating facets of the business. Together with his team, Dean ensures the company’s adherence to compliance, financial integrity and business goals.

Dean is actively ‘hands on’ ensuring that onsite co-ordination and project outcomes are met and delivered with excellence, on time and to budget.

With a key objective to accelerate Build North as a leader in building and construction, Dean has acquired the professional services of a dedicated team to propel the company forward.

Laurie Beardsmore – Construction Supervisor

Joined Build North Constructions 2017 as a Project Supervisor.

Laurie is a licensed QBCC site supervisor and was previously employed as a tradesman and leading hand with a prominent commercial building company and developer.

Over the last 12 years, Laurie has gained a wealth of experience within the commercial building industry. From leading teams in the construction of tilt up panel warehouses to supervising commercial office fit-outs. In this role, he has delivered detailed civil excavation works and slab on ground projects.

Laurie prides himself on keeping communication lines open with his clients. He is driven in delivering a product safely, on time and to the client’s requirements.

Laurie’s primary responsibilities within Build North are project estimating and site supervision.
